Job Summary

Responsible for participating and formulating basic recommendations in the development of long-range compensation objectives. Develops and participates in a variety of compensation surveys to collect and analyze information on the Company’s competitive position. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Acts as internal staff consultant for compensation-related issues.
  • Prepares recommendations and reports to analyze Company compensation plans compared to current market trends.
  • Investigates and recommends resolution strategies on classification questions and exemptions.
  • Participates in special studies of problem areas requiring job analysis, job evaluation, or similar techniques.
  • Assists with the annual salary and bonus review process.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with compensation management software, particularly Workday, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to analyze compensation data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing compensation data and processes.
