Primary Function of Position:

The Sr Analyst, Finance Applications, develops IT systems that advance the Finance business area. This job involves working closely with finance users to create and implement cost-effective IT solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Improve business processes and applications in Finance, including Source to Pay Business Processes, through investigation, design, testing, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with management to create business needs and long-term plans for IT solutions in Finance.
- Join projects, internal teams, or taskforces. The Manager assigns them. Offer design leadership in finance, cross-functionally.
- Manage cross-functional meetings as part of requirements gathering, driving projects or providing status updates on various projects
- Design, implement, and support solutions for business processes using SAP S/4 or FI/CO, Coupa, Ariba, iValua, and Concur. Avoid unnecessary complexity.
- Provide production support or implement enhancements for existing financial applications ensuring responsiveness to customer requests and quality of work
- Collaborate, coach and mentor business and applications teams located across the globe and in the various time zones.
- Help Manager, Finance Applications follow standards, internal controls, processes for Applications team, including PMO standards, processes.
- Ensure internal controls are followed and report exceptions immediately.
- Remain at the forefront of industry practices and application development.
- The Sr Analyst enhances and implements applications for Finance systems, including SAP S/4 FI/CO Modules and more.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology (preferably a master’s) and 8-12 years experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Finance applications.
- Ability to influence business teams in the design of system solutions to business problems.
- Experience and functional expertise with SAP Finance solutions is required.
- Proven project management and organization skills required to manage own work across multiple initiatives in parallel
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, and related business processes
- Successful track record in working on cross-functional, cross-team projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional data skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.
