Sr. Clients Receivables Accountant

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
5+ years of related accounting experience required.
Mortgage industry experience required.
Public accounting experience preferred.
Very proficient in Microsoft Excel.
SQL experience a plus.
Must have strong analytical and reconciliation skills using advanced spreadsheet functions.
Must be able to understand complex transactions, with strong attention to detail.
Team-oriented with ability to interact within and outside of the organization.
Ability to self-motivate and flexibility to collaborate with business associates in a remote workforce if needed.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet daily deadlines with quality in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Assume primary responsibility for recording advance related activity and operational servicing activity.
Prepare various journal entries and facilitate monthly close deadlines through automation and innovation.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations for both key and non-key servicing related assets and liabilities.
Assist in preparation of financial reporting information as required for SEC, statutory and compliance related reporting.
Maintain spreadsheet models and reports used in the accounting process.
Ability to understand process flow and how your tasks affect the larger picture.
Collaborate with our business partners in Servicing, Capital Markets and Treasury to resolve issues and build efficiencies.
Performs related duties as assigned by management.
