Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in cloud computing and extensive hands-on experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree
- An active DoD Secret Clearance.
- A current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification
- A current IAT Level II certification such as Security+ CE or CySA+
- Ability to design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and best practices for managing infrastructure as code.
- Mastery of one or more major cloud providers (OCI, AWS, or Azure), including advanced services and features.
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and experience with container orchestration platforms.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, and experience with DevSecOps tools.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and management of an organization’s cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy.
- Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization.
- Develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms.
- Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy.
- Monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools.
- Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology.
