Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of manufacturing operations experience, preferably in Pharmaceuticals or related field required.
- 3 years of knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles
- Six Sigma/Lean tools, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Has a high proficiency in manufacturing systems and understands the mechanics of data workflows
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Self-driven initiator with an analytical mindset
- Action oriented/drive for results & ability to drive continuous improvement
- Team orientation/strong team player
- Detailed-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Effective time management, problem solving & decision-making skills
- Proven cross-functional team leader/member
- Ability to see the whole process in improvements

Responsibilities
- Support and execution of the overall Site Strategic Improvement Plan (SSIP)
- Collaborate with Baxter Continuous Improvement organization to develop strategic site CI initiatives related to the Baxter Operating System.
- Focus on business performance that constantly strive to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share via the use of Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Facilitate, drive change in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment leveraging their strong interpersonal skills.
- Act as a key driver of change within the business, supporting management/cross functional decisions by communicating the enterprise-wide changes to employees and helping them to learn, understand, adjust, and grow with the business’s Lean transformation.
- Execute and support conversion & overhead Value Improvement Projects (VIP)
- Active member of various CI committees in support of CI transition and culture.
- Responsible for Visual Management implementation and sustainment within the site
- Provide Lean Tools training to all levels at the site
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen and Value Stream Events as well as coordinate the execution of action plans and kaizen newspaper action items
- Continuous identification of ideas for waste elimination in the organization
- Facilitate problem solving and be a coach to team members on problem solving methodology
- Promote core Baxter behaviors and values
- Organize, lead, and participate in continuous improvement activities to meet set targets
- Create project plans and drive projects for continuous improvement
- Support managers and integrate change within a team environment
- Coordinate tasks with internal and/or external service providers
- Coordinate training as needed to support integration of lean methods
- Lead, develop and standardize analyses regarding KPIs and projects for the site
