Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or a related field is required; MBA preferred.
- Background in medical, or biological sciences; clinical diagnostics preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years of leadership experience in oncology, hematologic malignancies, and/or the diagnostic laboratory business (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of successful sales and management experience, preferably in Hematology/Oncology or the diagnostic laboratory business.
- An equivalent combination of academic and professional experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, and lead a team of sales professionals by setting an example through business planning, CRM utilization, and field travel to achieve Signatera for Lymphoma sales goals.
- Educate and recruit Key Opinion Leaders in the treatment of Lymphoma, primarily in the academic setting, as well as in select community oncology targets.
- Become an expert in Natera’s technology and service offerings, representing the company and its business interests at the highest levels with KOL Physicians, Academic/Community Medical Directors, and C-Suite-level targets.
- Develop and execute plans to ensure the rapid distribution of all products.
- Establish positive working relationships with all key customer segments (internal and external), educating and recruiting Key Opinion Leaders from the Oncology, Hematology , and Pathology medical communities.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of all Clinical Oncology Specialists (COS)
- Allocate time, as defined with the VP, to fieldworkCOSs to support their professional development, provide direction, and offer feedback to maximize their potential.
- Provide direction based on field input, market assessments, and trends to develop an area that consistently implements best practices.
- Develop business plans based on sales goals, expectations, and available resources, including area-specific strategies and tactics.
- Design and implement regional and territory alignment to maximize ROI.
- Attend local, regional, and national trade shows, meetings, and training sessions. Support sales professionals in career pathing by providing guidance and tools for career development.
- Ensure all employees complete training related to HIPAA/PHI privacy, general policies and procedures, compliance, and security within 30 days of hire.
- Support the full suite of Natera Oncology products as required.
- Support Signatera and other oncology offerings as needed.
