Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 12+/10+ years of related experience
- 8-10 years of proven experience as a Hardware Systems Design Engineer, with a focus on system design and development.
- Expertise in PCB design tools such as DxDesigner/OrCad and Cadence Allegro, with hands-on experience in schematic capture and layout.
- Strong understanding of power integrity concepts, signal integrity principles, and high-speed board design methodologies.
- Proficiency in system bring-up, characterization, and debugging of complex embedded systems.
- Familiarity with interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, USB, SPI, and I2C, and their integration into system-level designs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of complex PCB system designs, from specification to compliance testing, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Drive the implementation of high-speed SERDES channels (50/100G and above) and high-density BGA pin layouts, utilizing low-loss PCB materials.
- Oversee the design and implementation of high-power, low-noise analog power systems, DDR interfaces, and other critical components.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including ASIC, SI, PI, DVT, Sysops, Software, AE, and Mechanical/Thermal, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Provide technical leadership and support to ODMs, OEMs, and PCB/PCA suppliers, both domestically and overseas.
- Utilize advanced tools and techniques for signal integrity and power integrity analysis, ensuring robust performance in challenging environments.
