Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, HR business partnership, or workforce planning supporting federal government contracts.
  • Proven expertise at a federal contracting company in full lifecycle recruiting for intelligence, law enforcement and global security related positions (Global Counter Threat Finance preferred).
  • Experience supporting DOD, Federal Law Enforcement and Regulatory Agency customers and contracts (AMIC experience preferred).
  • Experience hiring both CONUS and OCONUS positions.
  • Background working with cleared professionals, including positions requiring Secret, Top Secret and SCI clearances.
  • Proficiency in ATS platforms and recruitment marketing tools, with experience leveraging data analytics to drive hiring decisions.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain contract and facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization associated with contract work locations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (10 – 20%).

Responsibilities

  • Align recruitment strategies with Amentum’s business objectives and contract requirements to ensure mission success.
  • Lead full cycle recruiting efforts.
  • Develop and Execute workforce planning strategies to meet contract requirements and ongoing staffing needs.
  • Oversee headcount tracking, position approvals, and staffing projections to ensure operational efficiency and contract compliance.
  • Manage and Mentor a high performing team, driving accountability, knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
  • Set and enforce key performance metrics, including time to fill, vacancy rates and retention.
  • Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy within Amentum’s ATS, HCM and analytic tools.
  • Implement continuous Improvement initiatives to optimize hiring processes and enhance recruiter efficiency.
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic hiring insights and solutions.
  • Develop Strong pipelines by leveraging networking, sourcing strategies and proactive outreach.
  • Lead employer branding efforts to position Amentum as an employer of choice.
  • Enhance Candidate experience through structured communication, feedback collection and process refinement.
