Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ years of management experience.
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or equivalent), technology industry experience, and CPA or equivalent certification are strongly preferred.
- Technical expertise with US GAAP, including ASC 842 (Leases), ASC 718 (Stock-Based Compensation), and financial disclosure requirements.
- Proficiency with NetSuite and Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, drive month-end close and reporting processes, and lead a high-performing team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Process improvement mindset: a commitment to scalability, automation, and continuous process improvement with experience in system implementations and workflow enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close and internal reporting process, including preparation and review of fluctuation analyses and key reconciliations.
- Own key financial processes including accounting for leases and available-for-sale debt securities.
- Manage equity plan administration and accounting for stock-based compensation.
- Prepare and oversee annual financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP.
- Serve as primary liaison to external auditors and coordinate the annual audit.
- Lead the international accounting operations team responsible for accounting and compliance, including statutory audits and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accounting policies and procedures and internal controls over financial reporting.
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects including system implementations, process automation, and other transformation efforts to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Mentor and develop accounting talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Preferred Qualifications
