Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, analytics, economics, or similar
- 5+ years of work experience
- At least 2 years experience managing a team of developers and/or analysts
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
- Expertise in Google Analytics (or Adobe Analytics), SQL (Python preferred), and creating automated reporting solutions
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of digital analysts and analytics managers in data collection and analysis best practices
- Become the Zoro subject matter expert in digital analytics
- Manage relationships with internal business partners and external vendors
- Work with database tools or scripting languages to process, report on, and draw business and marketing insights from a variety of datasets
- Develop and perform quality checks on data for both ad hoc and ongoing processes
- Proactively investigate traffic, conversion, and performance trends using customer transaction and digital analytics data
- Manage and consult on website tag implementations
- Research best practices in data analysis, reporting, data visualization, and statistical analysis
- Design and execute geo-testing initiatives
- Utilize machine learning techniques to improve demand prediction, customer segmentation, and resource allocation
- Utilize predictive models to forecast customer behavior, sales trends, and marketing performance
