Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
- Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience in Classified Environments, including Security requirements and controls.
- Experience in DT Infrastructure and/or Computing technologies.
- Management experience with workforce planning and resource management.
- Requires demonstrated experience working in a collaborative environment requiring frequent teaming and written / verbal communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and partner with various cross-section of Digital, engineering, cybersecurity, and program leadership partners, in support of the of multiple Collins Strategic Business Units.
- Lead a team consisting of approximately thirteen (13) DT systems administrators to enable Collins program execution and support at the Richardson, Texas site, as well as external partner sites.
- Establish a vision, set direction, develop, and motivate high-performing technical professionals to deliver business value and results.
- Partner across Digital and other RTX functions to drive new technology insertion, sustainment direction, and support programs through the entire lifecycle.
- Have the responsibility for all aspects of people management including hiring, staff development, training, and performance appraisals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing teams in an Agile or DevOps environment.
- Knowledge of DFARs, CMMC, RMF, DAAPM, and JSIG requirements and controls.
- Experience with cyber and compliance hardening, process controls, and risk management.
- Proven effective communication skills, with ability to influence and drive change.
- Financial management of financial portfolio or budget, including Annual Operations Planning.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex issues, develop effective solutions, and drive to timely resolution.
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting tasks and initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, inspire, and motivate a team.
- Experience securely connecting labs to internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated success in leading change efforts.
