Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in EHS management systems, managing EHS and ESG metrics and data, EHS compliance and management system auditing and working in a global diversified industrial company working on a global team.
  • Experience using EHS data management platforms.
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and management systems.
  • Strong understanding in data visualization and how to best graphically present results to multiple audiences.
  • Ability to manage various aspects of companywide initiatives, including schedule and cost tracking. Strong leadership voice with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization, including presentations to Sr. Executive Leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, trend, and publish EHS and ESG metrics and KPI’s for the global organization.
  • Through data analysis, identify risks and recommend improvement plans to strengthen the effectiveness of our EHS management system and compliance programs.
  • Assist in the implementation of the EHS data management platform and support our change management and implementation process as we move to a new system, including development and delivery of training.
  • Serve as the primary system administrator EHS data management platform.
  • Enable better operational integration by serving as information conduit between EHS, ESG, IT and Global Supply Chain, and particularly between regions.
  • Develop and implement a global EHS internal performance evaluation process to align with our EHS Management System.
  • Participate as an auditor in SBD’s EHS compliance assurance audit program.
  • Implement leadership and engagement initiatives to evolve our EHS culture, meet customer needs and ensure program compliance.
  • Develop and train to global EHS management system policies and procedures.
  • Provide training to our sites as we launch our EHS Management System.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and/or CSP certification a plus.
  • Business intelligence tool proficiency is a plus.
