Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 9+ years of experience in events marketing with 5+ years in a leadership role within a B2B technology company.
  • Strong understanding of event operations, budget management, and logistics.
  • Experience leveraging Martech tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and virtual event platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external partners / vendors.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience measuring event ROI, pipeline impact, and engagement metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel (as needed) for onsite event execution.

Responsibilities

  • Create the overall events strategy to align with business objectives and revenue goals, ensuring we are able to reach our target audience.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of both in-person (tradeshows, conferences, summits, etc.) and virtual experiences.
  • Responsible for managing the full event lifecycle from budgeting to logistics to vendor management to partner coordination to post-event analysis.
  • Partner closely with marketing and sales teams to create event programs that drive brand awareness, generate leads and pipeline, or strengthen customer relationships.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors to maximize event promotion, audience engagement, and lead nurturing.
  • Measure event performance according to key performance indicators (KPIs) and take a data-driven mindset to optimize for the future.
  • Build and develop a team of event marketing managers by creating a culture around being customer inspired and driving performance.
  • Be up-to-date on the latest industry trends, emerging event technologies, and new ways to enhance event effectiveness.
