Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND a minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with infrastructure engineering leaders on identifying new infra efficiency initiatives, scoping these out and getting them prioritized/resourced
- Sizing financial and non-financial impact of existing major projects and transformation initiatives
- Understanding how infra engineering HC is allocated (to what initiatives) and ensuring they are allocated to highest ROI initiatives; make recommendations on initiative portfolio and reallocation of resources where necessary
- Design and set targets against true north and signpost metrics for the infra team; performance manage against a subset
- Track impact of initiatives against key metrics, both individually and in aggregate
- Validate incremental HC asks
- Support story telling of infra strategy in exec documents
- Identify and get prioritized projects to improve the operating model within infra, and between infra and other eng teams
- Identifies new opportunities for growth within scope of responsibility and adjacent areas and drives strategy development with business partners.
- Supports team members in operationalizing ideas and drives the development of plans for execution.
- Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) and necessary context to senior management and key stakeholders to drive action.
- Leverages insights, data, and internal/external trends to develop narratives to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
- Partners with cross-functional stakeholders and provides guidance to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective.
- Oversees team responsible for supporting performance management by creating, maintaining, and updating models and forecasts.
- Oversees the development of hypotheses using identified signals, trends, and risks.
- Ensures resources are available for team members to access data they need to execute ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address business questions.
- Coaches team members and provides actionable, concrete project-oriented feedback (after a meeting, end-of-project review) to colleagues and/or partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Excel modeling skills and competency in Word and PowerPoint
- Diligent, highly accurate with extreme attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
- Leader with strong interpersonal skills, influence capability and social intelligence
- Masterful written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstration of critical thinking – ability to question the output of a financial model and consider options for improvement
- Proactive, results oriented, with a can-do attitude and strict attention to detail in meeting critical deadlines
- A minimum of 3 years of people management experience of experience in the technology industry.
