Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience conducting market research and related product research projects (e.g., user research, buyer journey modeling, market opportunity analysis, product innovation recommendations)
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Deep understanding of various research methods, including qualitative (e.g., interviews, focus groups) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, market data analysis) techniques
  • Experience executing end-to-end research projects, from planning and recruitment to data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Proven ability to synthesize research data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders via written, visual, and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple research tasks simultaneously
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team and with cross-functional partners, especially with product and marketing stakeholders
  • Adept at using research tools (e.g., survey platforms like Qualtrics and data analysis tools like R, MarketSight)
  • Flexibility to collaborate effectively with remote teammates and customers across different time zones, with occasional travel to New York and Tel Aviv

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research studies to gather data on market size, competitive dynamics, and potential customer segments, assisting Product and Marketing teams shape HoneyBook’s growth strategy
  • Execute research plans to identify target audience demographics, preferences, behaviors, and needs, helping translate findings into actionable insights
  • Apply various research methodologies, including survey design, qualitative interviews, focus group moderation, and third-party validation
  • Create external insights-driven assets for thought leadership marketing campaigns
  • Develop and maintain new research methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and data analysis techniques
  • Contribute to the competitive landscape analysis, identifying competitor strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning to drive strategic planning
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members, including Product Managers, Marketers, and UX Designers, to integrate research findings into their workflows
  • Prepare research reports, summaries, and presentations to share findings clearly and effectively with the internal team and relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on emerging industry trends and disruptions relevant to HoneyBook’s market and product strategy
  • Assist in the development and refinement of customer personas based on research data
  • Maintain organized documentation of research plans, data, and findings
