Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years’ relevant experience; 6 years’ experience with a Master’s degree; 4 years with PhD.
- Knowledge and experience with concepts of high-performance computing system hardware, including servers, network switches, cables, and storage components
- Knowledge and experience with concepts of data center facilities, including power and cooling systems
- Experience interfacing with hardware and software vendors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain data center operational integrity
- Track and manage hardware assets
- Interface with HPC Systems Engineers to support system requirements
- Interface with vendors to manage hardware orders and deliveries
- Interface with data center facilities teams to monitor, maintain, and enhance facilities to support system requirements
- Contribute to design of new high-performance compute clusters
Preferred Qualifications
- IAT Level II certification
- Knowledge and experience monitoring and maintaining high-performance compute cluster hardware
- Experience with supply chain and procurement processes
- Experience with enterprise asset tracking
- Experience with MPI implementations
- Experience with high-speed, low-latency network fabrics
- Experience with parallel file systems
- Experience with GPUs
