Requirements
- 4-year college degree
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate or commercial loan servicing.
- Strong experience and aptitude for reviewing and interpreting property, borrower, and guarantor financial statements, and highly complex commercial mortgage loan documents.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Word, and the ability to quickly learn new program applications.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and to meet deadlines under pressure
- Strong customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong logical and analytical skills (ability to research, identify issues, and problem solve).
- Ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze financial statements for a portfolio of Pacific Life loans.
- Guide team members in monitoring their Pacific Life loan portfolio.
- Determine and document causes for variances in property performance via discussions with borrowers and co-lenders (for participated loans).
- Read loan documents and mortgage loan investment summaries to understand nature of complex loans to properly analyze and monitor the loan, as well as detect key requirements of the loan.
- Provide team members guidance in understanding documents and mortgage loan investment summaries to determine key requirements of the loan.
- Manage and lead the analysis, recommendation, and management of highly complex commercial real estate transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting experience preferred.
