Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in revenue operations, business systems analysis, or similar roles supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with revenue systems (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ, marketing automation, customer success platforms, ERP/finance systems).
  • Demonstrated success in process optimization, workflow design, and systems integration within a revenue operations context.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, modeling) and experience with visualization tools like Power BI or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end revenue processes, from lead generation through renewal.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements across the revenue lifecycle, translating them into functional specifications and system solutions.
  • Analyze the interaction between multiple systems (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, CPQ, customer success platforms, finance systems) to design integrated, scalable workflows.
  • Document current-state and future-state process flows, system architectures, and functional requirements to support operational improvements.
  • Evaluate system capabilities (existing and new) and provide recommendations on how to meet evolving business needs.
  • Partner with system owners and administrators (Salesforce and beyond) to design and implement solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Assess and refine go-to-market processes (lead management, opportunity management, renewals, billing handoffs, etc.) to drive efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements across the entire revenue operations ecosystem.
  • Support change management and training to drive adoption of optimized processes and tools.
  • Develop clear and comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications for system enhancements, integrations, and reporting needs.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure successful translation of business needs into technical solutions.
  • Validate solutions through testing and feedback loops to ensure they meet business objectives.
  • Design and maintain reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the revenue cycle.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems by defining standards and controls.
  • Provide actionable insights by analyzing data from multiple sources (e.g., CRM, marketing platforms, financial systems).
  • Conduct strategic analyses, such as white space analysis, pipeline health, and revenue performance trends.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance teams to align on shared goals and support strategic initiatives with robust operational insights.
  • Collaborate with systems administrators to scope and implement new technologies or enhancements across platforms like Outreach, Pardot, CPQ, and other revenue-impacting systems.
  • Facilitate regular operational reviews, sharing insights and progress on key initiatives.
