Requirements
- 5+ years of direct experience in Sales Operations (SaaS environment preferred)
- Robust, SME-level understanding of sales processes, revenue funnels, and customer lifecycles
- Strong experience working within Salesforce CRM
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to others and motivate change, without direct authority
- Ability to identify problems and issues, and propose potential solutions
- Professional and effective communication and presentation skills in all forms
- Natural inclination to seek out data to inform decisions
- Ability to dig deep and identify root causes instead of jumping to obvious conclusions
- Strong project and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives that align with overall business goals and revenue objectives
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Work closely with senior leadership, Marketing, Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with broader business objectives
- Analyze complex sales data to uncover trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Lead change management efforts for Sales Operations, including introducing new tools, processes, or methodologies
- Mentor and guide junior sales ops team members
- Partner with assigned selling teams and senior leadership to proactively identify, prioritize, and drive strategic revenue-enabling initiatives
- Drive complex projects to completion within a framework that ensures quality and adoption
- Document and update project progress to stakeholders and leadership regularly
- Develop organized and purposeful scrum sprint plans & comprehensively document sprint retrospectives
- Provide front-line support to selling teams by responding to various requests
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience in a fast-moving SaaS environment
- Experience with tools used in Revenue organizations (Salesforce, Salesloft, Chili Piper, LeanData, Attention; Wrike for project/task management)
- Certifications in project management, Salesforce, Salesloft, Chili Piper, LeanData, or Six Sigma (or an MBA)
- Business acumen and understanding of the role of Sales Ops within the broader business context
- Results orientation and recognition of the importance of achieving results
- Flexible tenacity and ability to persist through challenges
