Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s in marketing, communications, journalism or related field.
- 5-8 years of professional experience and strong competency with the various tools, systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job.
- 5+ years of SEO experience with a proven track record of optimizing websites, mobile, video, and/or social.
- Thorough understanding of SEO best practices, search engine trends and search engine algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, compelling, error-free copy with an understanding of the importance of voice and tone in brand communications.
- Develop content marketing for B2C technology and B2B/B2C marketing with an eye to the outdoors.
- Partner closely with various teams to develop and communicate seasonal narratives and product stories.
- Design and construct layouts for online PDPs, category landing pages, and other as determined by wholesale.com customers.
- Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices in SEO into work.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in an ad/design agency or communications company, preferred.
- Proven experience as a copywriter or related role for technical products through various mediums including experience writing copy to be translated for global markets, strongly preferred.
