Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma / GED)
- At least 5 years of experience in working in a manufacturing environment
- At least 3 additional years of materials, sourcing, or planning and scheduling
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a buying team.
- Manage procurement operations for direct and indirect materials.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure Suppliers qualification.
- Manage, Analyze and Maintain / Improve Suppliers On-Time Delivery.
- Oversee the placement of purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor order status and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Review open orders and shipments with critical suppliers.
- Analyze purchase order revision and status reports.
- Conduct supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives based on market trends.
- Collaborate in factory road map planning and align sourcing strategies with production goals.
- Participate in production meetings and daily/weekly pulse calls.
- Engage with Commodity Leaders and conduct monthly commodity reviews.
- SAP GRC Approver for site.
- Materials & Customer LDA for site.
- Support for Site Cost Quoting & Price Maintenance across products.
- Be engaged and engage the Team in Lean activities and transformation.
- Be engaged in ERP improvement.
