Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in C programming.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and services – DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS along with sound knowledge of FreeBSD or any Unix systems internals.
- Strong in fundamentals – High-performance Computing, Event-based programming, Memory optimization, and Fault Tolerance, along with strong software design, profiling, and verification skills.
- Proficiency in design/code reviews and writing automatable unit and integration tests.
Responsibilities
- Developing and owning components of a large-scale distributed system.
- Troubleshooting production issues to insure customer satisfaction.
- Working with operations and providing support as needed to help keep a healthy cloud.
- Owning and displaying accountability of areas assigned to you.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS or MS Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
- Experience with distributed systems and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MYSQL is a strong plus.
