Sr. Systems Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline
4+ years of relevant experience in industry with bachelor’s degree; OR 2+ years of relevant experience in industry with graduate degree

Develop, review, and decompose design inputs and system requirements
Understand customer use cases, workflows, and interactions
Identify technical risks and support risk burn down plan and activities
Develop and execute a robust and efficient system verification and validation strategy
Review and approve engineering reports, protocols, and other documentation
Execute system testing; troubleshoot test failures, identify source of issue, and collaborate with appropriate partners to for resolution; communicate with internal systems & functional experts at various levels
Support strategic initiatives aimed at making our systems engineering processes and tools more efficient
Understand and execute best practices of Systems Engineering processes, advocate for high quality engineering.

Demonstrated ability for independent work
Experience with systems engineering principles
Experience with software system to device interfaces
Demonstrated domain knowledge and understands applications to assigned projects
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement by studying and applying technical advances in area of expertise
Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Demonstrated Cardiac Rhythm Management domain knowledge
Experience with behavior-centered design
Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma or related product development processes
A person that is versatile, technically savvy, curious, a broad systems thinker, and willing to work in a space with a lot of ambiguity.
Good judgment in assessing risks and opportunities of these solutions.
