Requirements
- 5+ years of AV experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Position requires reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance.
- Travel within the continental United States required.
Responsibilities
- Design, install and configure cutting-edge videoconferencing and collaboration solutions for meetings, live streams and other live events.
- Train and support less experienced AV Engineers.
- Maintaining A/V infrastructures and conducting routine preventative maintenance to minimize down time.
- Ensuring that installation, configuration, and operation of AV equipment exceeds our customers’ expectations.
- Assist with monitoring key A/V meetings and events, including live streams.
- Identify trade partners in various markets.
- Understand and apply industry standards and best practices.
- Identify and implement alternative technology approaches to meeting customer requirements.
- Maintain company AV standards.
- Install AV hardware as needed.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- A thorough understanding of audio and video equipment such as microphones, speakers, cameras and control systems.
- The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with AV equipment quickly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of how audio and video signals are processed and routed.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining AV equipment.
- Knowledge of proper cabling techniques and wiring practices for AV systems.
- An understanding of acoustics and how sound behaves in different spaces.
- Proficiency with multimedia software and applications.
- A foundational understanding of electronics principles is helpful.
