Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in an Information Technology position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; a Master’s Degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL, RDBMS, and database query analysis.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and application integration.
- Familiarity with PaaS platforms, including Azure and AWS services.
- Knowledge of networking basics, especially DNS and topology.
- Skilled in SDLC processes and development bug management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle appropriate escalations.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line application support, addressing technical challenges in distributed high-performance computing.
- Utilize investigative techniques and business acumen to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with the development team for third-line escalations and ensure seamless issue resolution.
- Implement and monitor system checks for proactive problem detection, initiating incident management processes as needed.
- Lead disaster recovery processes for all products, ensuring business continuity.
- Coordinate with product and delivery teams to prepare the App Support team for new releases and enhancements.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in application health monitoring, reporting, and technical support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB or Dynamo DB.
- Understanding of agile methodologies.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- A background in financial services is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize tasks based on business impact.
