Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Windows systems administration and High Performance Computing

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and deploy full-stack technology solutions, including networking, Windows workstations & servers, Linux, High Performance Computing Clusters, storage, security tools, and applications in secure areas.
  • Lead process improvement and documentation efforts.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders and multiple teams, including business, IT, information assurance, physical security, and facilities.
  • Define technology standards related to deployment and help drive standardization.
  • Outline project strategies to deliver expected outcomes.
  • Implement project management practices and execution methodologies.
  • Manage day-to-day execution, tracking, and communication of multiple projects.
  • Coordinate execution across projects and teams, ensuring shared outcomes.
  • Resolve roadblocks and interdependencies with technical and functional teams.
  • Manage project risks, scope changes, and non-standard events.
  • Communicate progress and stakeholder updates at various organizational levels.
  • Ensure quality deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Track project outcomes and customer satisfaction through established metrics and define new metrics (Key Performance Indicators) where needed.
  • Participate in technical strategy planning and architecture discussions.

  • Deep knowledge in at least one of the following: Linux server administration, High Performance Computing, Virtualization, Windows server administration.
  • Ability to explore alternate technologies and problem-solving approaches.
  • Ability to analyze the impact of technology choices.
  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting requirements, and estimating efforts.
  • Innovation and integration of new processes or technology to add value to GE Aerospace.
  • Proactive learning of new technologies, solutions, and processes.
  • Familiarity with basic project management principles.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and common service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a unified perspective to the team.
  • Active U.S. Department of Defense security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain clearance.
