Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD is a plus).
  • 3-5 + years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and neural networks.
  • Hands-on experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib).
  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets and perform data wrangling and cleaning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply analytical thinking to self-driving challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply advanced data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques to solve complex problems related to autonomous driving systems.
  • Analyze large datasets generated by vehicle sensors to improve self-driving algorithms.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineers, product teams) to design and optimize algorithms and models.
  • Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering to ensure high-quality input for model development.
  • Evaluate model performance and implement strategies for improvement, including tuning and retraining models with new data.
  • Develop data pipelines and visualization tools to monitor model performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on the design and development of real-time data processing systems that support autonomous driving operations.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous driving technologies, and apply them to improve our products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with reinforcement learning and decision-making algorithms for autonomous systems.
  • Familiarity with autonomous vehicle testing, simulation, and real-world data collection.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks
  • Understanding of control systems, robotics, and navigation algorithms.
  • Previous experience in the autonomous driving, robotics, or automotive industry.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
