Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in an engineering field
  • minimum five years of experience in a repair engineering role

Responsibilities

  • Development of repair and inspection technologies to meet short term and long-term business needs
  • Ability to work across functions in the development, implementation, and final industrialization of a repair to support our shops and customer shops.
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services as it pertains to repair.
  • Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting assigned projects to find creative solutions to complex problems with technical variety and/or interdependent processes.
  • Leverage prior experience and knowledge and broaden knowledge of one’s own technical discipline to meet product deliverables.
  • Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers, including leadership.
  • Share engineering information and promote open dialogue.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline.
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
