Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in an engineering field
- minimum five years of experience in a repair engineering role
Responsibilities
- Development of repair and inspection technologies to meet short term and long-term business needs
- Ability to work across functions in the development, implementation, and final industrialization of a repair to support our shops and customer shops.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services as it pertains to repair.
- Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting assigned projects to find creative solutions to complex problems with technical variety and/or interdependent processes.
- Leverage prior experience and knowledge and broaden knowledge of one’s own technical discipline to meet product deliverables.
- Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers, including leadership.
- Share engineering information and promote open dialogue.
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
