Requirements
- 6+ years of industry experience developing and leading advanced machine learning initiatives with measurable business impact and production-deployed solutions
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Physics, Economics, or another quantitative field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical expertise in Python, Spark, and PyTorch for machine learning applications
Responsibilities
- Develop ML-driven systems that ensure DoorDash pricing remains affordable and fair across all restaurant selections and occasions
- Create AI solutions that optimize deals and promotions for relevancy and efficiency, intelligently adapting to evolving consumer ordering behaviors
- Partner with engineering and product leaders to shape product roadmaps through AI/ML innovations
- Own the complete modeling lifecycle from feature creation through deployment, experimentation, monitoring, explainability, and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with statistics, causal inference, multi-objective optimization, or deep learning (preferred)
