Staff Nurse – Critical Care Oncology New Grad Nurse Residency Program – RN

Requirements

• Graduate from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) accredited nursing program required
• Current licensure or interim permit in the practice of registered nursing from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing required

Responsibilities

• Managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family
• Directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team
• Assessing, prescribing, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients
• Prioritizing patient care needs and providing leadership to, and development of, the patient care team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a relevant care setting preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
