Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN-Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NIHSS
- 1+ years of recent experience working Intermediate ICU/Stepdown/PCU in an acute care setting
Responsibilities
- Assessment, coordination delivery and evaluation of nursing care
- Direct patient care
- Patient/family education
- Transitions of care in an acute patient setting
- Developing, implementing, and coordinating a plan of care
- Fostering and maintaining collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Adhering to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher: Preferred
