Requirements
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
- Pharmacist license current and in good standing
- A growth mindset and maintain any continuing education requirements
- 1 years of experience in the practice of pharmacy
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and the medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
- Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development
- Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in the practice of pharmacy, specialty pharmacy preferred
- Health system experience
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency
- Board certification (e.g., BCOP, BCCP, or other relevant specialties) strongly preferred
- Experience in oncology, rheumatology, and nephrology settings
- URAC, ACHC accreditation experience
