Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a CKA, CKD, Hashicorp Terraform Associate, or Hashicorp Vault Associate
- 8+ years of experience building and operating cloud-based, highly available, distributed systems at petabyte scale
- Experience operating Kubernetes clusters
- Experience migrating teams to Istio, Vault, and OpenTelemetry
- Experience provisioning and operating cloud-native tools at scale, such as Istio (Tetrate), Kong, Datadog, Hashicorp Vault
- Experience and proficiency in managing infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, SSM Parameter Store, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, PCA, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and implementation of our next-generation network, observability, and secrets platform for the construction industry, primarily focused on building and supporting distributed systems
- Support our engineering team in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, testing and roll-out, and support
- Help identify and propose solutions for technical gaps in our platform by running proof of concepts and experiments
- Work alongside our Product, UX, and IT teams, leveraging your experience and expertise in cloud technologies to influence our product roadmap and develop innovative solutions that add capabilities to our tools
- Stay current and drive innovation in the latest network, observability, and secret technology trends
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct hands-on experience in a FedRAMP-compliant environment is preferred.
