Requirements

  • 8+ years in relevant B2B SaaS Product Management experience in an agile and highly dynamic environment
  • A data-driven approach to decision making, balanced with strong product intuition
  • Proven experience with platform or infrastructure products that serve both internal teams and external customers
  • A mindset for working incrementally, breaking down complex systems into smaller pieces, and using prototypes and experiments to quickly test hypotheses
  • Technical aptitude with ability to quickly build expertise in unfamiliar domains and contribute meaningfully to technical discussions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to craft business cases and narratives that inspire and influence change.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams on architectural decisions and technical trade-offs that support business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to translate user needs into technical requirements and keep engineering teams focused on customer outcomes
  • Experience with containerization, cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform), and scalable infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand their product strategies and identify how the platform can best support them
  • Define long-term platform strategies that balance technical sustainability, security, business goals, and user needs
  • Prioritize platform initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with company objectives
  • Design platform primitives and patterns that enable internal teams to build features independently without requiring bespoke support
  • Champion standardization and reusability across the platform to improve developer productivity and reduce technical debt
  • Identify opportunities to enhance platform capabilities that unlock new product possibilities
  • Balance immediate needs with long-term platform health and evolution
  • Evaluate competing technical approaches with architects and engineering leads, weighing trade-offs to reach design decisions that support business goals
  • Break down complex systems into component parts and identify paths for incremental improvement
  • Advocate for architectural decisions that support business objectives while maintaining technical integrity
  • Provide guidance to technical teams on customer priorities to keep development focused on high-impact outcomes
  • Engage with the internal teams and customers to gather insights and feedback
  • Collaborate with User Researchers to conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to understand user behaviors and preferences
  • Use feedback to iterate on product features and enhance the overall overall developer experience
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap
  • Collaborate with customer support to address user issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Communicate product updates and releases to internal teams and external stakeholders
