Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in backend development
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with probability analysis and statistical modeling
- Expertise in building and deploying machine learning models for identity resolution and anomaly detection
- Strong knowledge of identity resolution techniques, fuzzy matching, and record linkage algorithms
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable Identity Resolution systems to improve identity verification accuracy and reduce fraud
- Develop algorithms and machine learning models to match and deduplicate user identities across multiple data sources
- Optimize and enhance identity linking and resolution pipelines for performance and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Security, and Product, to define and implement identity-related features
- Ensure high reliability and availability of identity resolution services in a production environment
- Establish and enforce best practices for data integrity, privacy, and security in identity resolution workflows
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and research in identity resolution, fraud prevention, and data matching
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fraud detection, risk analysis, or authentication technologies
- Contributions to open-source identity resolution projects or published research in the field
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government services
