Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in backend development
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
  • Experience with probability analysis and statistical modeling
  • Expertise in building and deploying machine learning models for identity resolution and anomaly detection
  • Strong knowledge of identity resolution techniques, fuzzy matching, and record linkage algorithms
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement scalable Identity Resolution systems to improve identity verification accuracy and reduce fraud
  • Develop algorithms and machine learning models to match and deduplicate user identities across multiple data sources
  • Optimize and enhance identity linking and resolution pipelines for performance and accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Security, and Product, to define and implement identity-related features
  • Ensure high reliability and availability of identity resolution services in a production environment
  • Establish and enforce best practices for data integrity, privacy, and security in identity resolution workflows
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and research in identity resolution, fraud prevention, and data matching

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fraud detection, risk analysis, or authentication technologies
  • Contributions to open-source identity resolution projects or published research in the field
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government services
