Staff Software Development Engineer – Profiles – Identity Resolution

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
8+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in backend development
Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with probability analysis and statistical modeling
Expertise in building and deploying machine learning models for identity resolution and anomaly detection
Strong knowledge of identity resolution techniques, fuzzy matching, and record linkage algorithms
Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Architect, design, and implement scalable Identity Resolution systems to improve identity verification accuracy and reduce fraud
Develop algorithms and machine learning models to match and deduplicate user identities across multiple data sources
Optimize and enhance identity linking and resolution pipelines for performance and accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Security, and Product, to define and implement identity-related features
Ensure high reliability and availability of identity resolution services in a production environment
Establish and enforce best practices for data integrity, privacy, and security in identity resolution workflows
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and research in identity resolution, fraud prevention, and data matching

Experience in fraud detection, risk analysis, or authentication technologies
Contributions to open-source identity resolution projects or published research in the field
Experience working in highly regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government services
