Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- CBSPD Certified in Sterile Processing Management (CSPM) or IAHCSMM Registered Central Services Technician, Certified within 1 year and 6 months Required
Responsibilities
- Cleaning, decontaminating, sterilizing, and distributing medical and surgical instrumentation
- Following a processing cycle: Decontam>Inspect>Assembly>Package>Sterilize>Inspect>Store>Inspect>Dispense
- Involved in the record keeping and tracking process across many different functions of their jobs
- Providing properly processed products when they are needed
