Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in factory capacity, equipment engineering, or capital planning.
  • Candidate must have 1+ years of experience with benchmarking best practices in capacity planning or factory cycle time in a semiconductor foundry environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead project management teams to meet defined objectives, success measures, and deadlines, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities.
  • Consolidate foundry best practices and benchmarking for all aspects of capital planning. Including but not limited to capital deployment, time to money, equipment reuse, cycle time, and layout optimization.
  • Benchmark and develop solutions to meeting line velocity/cycle time requirements, managing velocity corridors and cycle time distribution for mixed technology factories while operating to world class capital efficiency.
  • Lead cross-organizational business process standardization and revision initiatives to enable world class equipment and capital efficiency.
  • Influence and integrate equipment productivity, reuse, and fungibility efforts into the capital planning for fab deployment to ensure monetization of improvements.
  • Partner with supply chain, technology development, and IE organizations to technically assess reuse feasibility, integration, risks and opportunities.
  • Partner and lead initiatives to enable reuse of excess equipment, drive technical assessments of qualification opportunities with equipment and process engineering and integration teams to enable asset life extension while minimizing risk to product ramp output and quality.
  • Conduct data analysis, and bridge datasets across multiple systems, to identify, optimize, and report on themes, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategies, understand trade-offs, and influence decisions with data.
  • Understand a high volume of complex variables/datasets and synthesize results into clear and simple takeaways meaningful for executive consumption and decision-making.
  • Define and implement reporting solutions that bring greater clarity and help guide management decisions.
  • Work with multiple inputs from a diverse organization base and consolidate into a comprehensive recommended plan and risks.
  • Drive and integrate strategies between different stakeholders across Capacity, Supply Chain, Finance, Process Engineering, Technology Development, and High-Volume Manufacturing.
  • Communicate and influence within tight timelines to deliver executable plans. Influence decisions with data and logic.
  • Develop and drive innovative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a semiconductor foundry servicing capacity modeling and operations optimization.
  • 1+ year of experience with data analysis, capital planning/financial analysis, and project management.
  • 1+ year of equipment deinstall/install hands-on or coordination.
