Requirements
- 7+ years of advanced strategic sourcing experience, specifically in Technology outsourced labor, services, assets, and applications
- In-depth understanding of sourcing planning, including market research, supplier selection, and risk mitigation
- Strategic mindset in supplier negotiations and execution
- Deep understanding of sourcing principles, methodologies, and contract law
- Proficient in data analysis, spend analytics, and financial modeling
- Extensive knowledge of relevant supplier markets, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Curious and committed to continuous learning and development
- Demonstrate effective and professional service orientation
- Exercise good judgement and have a process for managing competing priorities
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and navigating situations without clear directions
- Prior experience within financial services and/or investment management
Responsibilities
- Execute sourcing initiatives in support of enterprise-wide business priorities of the Information Technology Group
- Develop strategies for and lead negotiations, including complex contracting negotiations
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost optimization initiatives
- Proactively manage expectations and address concerns related to sourcing activities
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable contract terms while ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices
- Drive process optimization, vendor management enablement, and category management
- Leverage end-to-end sourcing, contracting, and vendor management expertise to make recommendations to support business needs
