Requirements

  • 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or sales, ideally within a VC, PE, or accelerator ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of VC and PE investment models, startup growth dynamics, and partnership ecosystems.
  • Experience managing leads through the sales cycle with a focus on conversion and revenue impact.
  • Comfortable building from scratch, taking initiative, and driving strategy in an ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to clearly articulate Vanta’s value proposition to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven success in aligning internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product) to support partnership initiatives.
  • Skilled in leveraging data tools to track performance, optimize strategies, and drive measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to engage with VC, PE, and accelerator ecosystems.
  • Build and nurture high-impact relationships with investment firms, portfolio companies, and industry leaders.
  • Create scalable programs that generate leads, contribute to the sales pipeline, and drive revenue growth.
  • Enable and activate partners by delivering value-added resources and collaborating with internal teams to enhance engagement.
  • Design and implement structured processes for partner onboarding, deal registration, and mutual value creation.
  • Represent Vanta at key industry events, panels, and conferences to expand visibility and build strategic connections.
  • Lay the groundwork for future team expansion by developing playbooks, success metrics, and best practices for partnerships at Vanta.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of VC and PE relationships, prior experience working at or with investment firms.
