Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field, and three years of related work experience.
  • Must have three years of experience in each of the following: Using SQL, Python, and R to perform analysis of large datasets to define key metrics and using Tableau to generate data visualizations; Analyzing market and business metrics by leveraging and categorizing multiple datasets using MySQL and Excel to deliver strategic business insights; Delivering business presentations with business applications, including Pivot Tables in Excel and PowerPoint, to influence product strategies; Conducting industry and competitor research on industry trends, competitors’ behaviors, and new product solution opportunities to aid leadership make decisions on product directions; and Managing projects involving cross-functional stakeholders to formulate workplan, drive alignment, coordinate collaboration, and deliver strategic business outcome.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key strategic partner to the fast-growing TikTok ecommerce team; take a strategic and data-driven approach to provide recommendations on business growth, especially incentive policies and resource allocation.
  • Conduct in depth analysis of the resource allocation strategy, focusing on campaigns and incentive policies for merchants, shop partners, creators and creator partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop short-term and long-term strategic plans and drive high impact projects.
  • Work closely with Data, Product, Growth and Customer Experience teams to support strategic initiatives.
  • Screen the market for analytical insights related to competing platforms and large global accounts and shed light on future growth strategy.
  • Leverage and deploy critical data management and visualization tools to effectively construct and communicate valuable insights and recommendations derived from key business metrics.
  • Track business progress and provide consistent optimization for the business operation, defining key performance metrics and setting key performance indicators (KPI) to drive business growth.
