Requirements
- MBA or Undergraduate/Graduate degree in finance, economics, or mathematics and/or related trading
- CSC, CPH, Traders Training; Registered Trader exam and applicable US registration exams
- Solid understanding of equity markets, derivatives, fixed income, and structured products
- Self-driven, able to cope with a high-pressure work environment

Responsibilities
- Maximizing the capture and retention of sales credit and client value
- Timely pricing of sales requests
- Minimize unexplained PnL
- Keep PnL volatility under control
- Minimize discrepancies between desk PnL and daily financial reporting figures
- Consistent and frequent parameters update (volatility, dividends, correlation)
- Maintain reserves under control
- Ensure books are within GRM and Desk appointed limits while anticipating any over-limits by requesting pre-approval from both Management and GRM
- Recycle client business risks and do so internally when possible
- Ensure optimization of barrier management PnL
- Minimizing operational losses (due to trading actions)
- Ensure engagement and participation in working groups as needed
- Communication and workflow between sales and trading
- Improve day to day trading (spreadsheets, processes)
- Respect risk recycling GELP guidelines
- Work with the Quant and Technology teams to improve set-up
- Generate trade ideas for the Structuring team
- Highlight, escalate and resolve issues
- Follow up with Operations if and when needed
- Cooperation with GRM, Valuation, Product Control, Operational Risk
- Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities (Volcker, restricted list, market rules, etc.)
- Proactively identify operation risk/control deficiencies in the business
- Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis
