Requirements
- 9+ years of experience designing large-scale, consumer-facing websites or web products
- Strong systems thinker who can architect intuitive, elegant experiences across complex information hierarchies
- Experience working with modern web technologies and CMS platforms
- Familiarity with motion design or micro-interactions to enhance UX
- Background in A/B testing, UX research, or analytics to inform design decisions
Responsibilities
- Own the UX vision and strategy for OpenAI.com, creating clear, elegant, and scalable experiences across the site
- Lead design from concept to implementation: defining user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Collaborate deeply with engineers, brand designers, marketers, and writers to ship polished, high-performing experiences
- Balance user needs, technical constraints, and brand expression to craft delightful experiences for a broad set of audiences
- Help evolve our web design system in partnership with brand and engineering
- Guide and mentor other designers on the team, elevating the craft and execution quality across OpenAI.com
