Responsibilities
- Identifies potential new partner organizations (e.g., community-based organizations, corporate partners) that could contribute to recruitment activities for VOICES of Black Women and independently assesses the feasibility of partnerships.
- Leads outreach to and introductory meetings with potential new partner organizations; involves senior leadership when appropriate.
- Supports newly identified and existing study partner organizations to plan and implement study recruitment activities with minimal supervision.
- Maintains documentation of partner activities, including the development of new materials and dissemination of successes/best practices among internal and external stakeholders.
- Manages and leads study partner communication, including proactive outreach to partners and responses to requests for support, and solicits feedback to strengthen partnerships.
- Identifies partner organizations to receive Requests for Applications for grant funding and leads review of partner applications for grant funding with the grant review committee. Supports grantees to implement funded activities and is responsible for all monitoring and reporting from grantee organizations.
- Represents research studies at relevant conferences, meetings, and events to identify and solicit new partners and/or support partner recruitment activities.
- Develops new recruitment resources in response to partner requests and feedback; maintains and updates recruitments resources for partners on SocietySource, MySocietySource, voices.cancer.org, and elsewhere.
- Contribute to study leadership and planning efforts through regular meetings and touchpoints.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
