Requirements
- Ability to supervise students while on campus or away on field trips
- Ability to observe, monitor, and participate in children’s play activities
- Ability to efficiently redirect inappropriate student behaviors
- Ability to foster and support spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development of campers
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and walk around supervising activities
- Ability to keep accurate attendance of campers
- Flexibility to work with students from ages 5-14
- Ability to communicate effectively with the Summer Camp Director
Responsibilities
- Arrive at work at scheduled time
- Provide supervision for students while on campus or away on field trips
- Observe, monitor, and participate in children’s play activities
- Follow schedule provided for activities with campers
- Efficiently redirect inappropriate student behaviors and implement the program discipline system
- Foster and support spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development of campers
- Keep accurate attendance of campers throughout the day
- Report any problems that may occur to the Summer Camp Director
