Requirements

  • Experience with languages like Python, C++, or similar languages.
  • Understanding and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) systems.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments, ERP and system integration (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience: 2-3 years in control system programming and assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply coding skills (e.g., Python, SQL, or other programming languages) to build automated solutions for improving risk reporting, governance processes, and compliance-related tasks. This includes designing, testing, and deploying scripts or applications to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improving risk management practices. Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to uncover actionable insights.
  • Design, build, and optimize interactive dashboards, visualizations, reporting tools, and analytics platforms to enhance transparency and support data-driven decision-making across departments.
  • Work closely with multi-functional teams, such as IT, Finance, and Operations, to collect project requirements, overcome technical obstacles, and offer scalable solutions in line with governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and implement innovative process improvements to improve operational efficiency by bringing to bear automation and coding to reduce manual workflows, decrease processing time, and minimize errors.
  • Document coding projects and system improvements accurately, including technical specifications, user guides, and change logs, to ensure continuity.
  • Support the identification and quantification of risks by developing and maintaining technical tools such as risk assessment models, simulation frameworks, or predictive analytics systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, programming tools, and trends that could improve processes and recommend their integration where relevant.
  • Offer technical mentorship and training to team members or collaborators on the use of developed tools, dashboards, or automated systems.
  • Ensure coding practices align with organizational standards for data security, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations or policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and technical aptitude.
  • Proficient in coding and automation.
  • Analytical mentality with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Mongo database management a plus.
  • Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
