Requirements
- Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of experience required
- Some years of supervisory experience and High School Graduate or GED Certificate
- Experience in hospital / hotel housekeeping operations is preferred
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of applicable codes and regulatory requirements, preferred
- General knowledge of computers including Microsoft Word and Outlook software programs
Responsibilities
- Supervising the custodial workers in the day-to-day operations of cleaning of The James
- Inspecting, assessing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating personnel performance in their assigned area
- Cleaning inpatient and outpatient areas, offices, labs, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairs and outside entrances
- Promoting an Intensive Caring image in support of service excellence
