Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and five (5) years of Supply Chain experience in private, public, government of military environment
- OR
- High School diploma/GED or higher and seven (7) years of Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Purchasing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Responsibilities
- Manage the supply plan by purchasing raw materials, scheduling production and managing finished good inventory for multiple manufacturing areas
- Coordinate with other 3M locations, external suppliers, and various business teams to meet service, cost, and inventory targets
- Provide planning analysis to support decision making
- Publish and present service and inventory metrics, results, and gap analysis
- Leads or coaches employees during a project or trains/mentors new employees within functional disciplines such as supply planning, systems implementation, warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, etc.
- Identify and implement supply chain process improvement projects
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP knowledge/background strongly preferred
- Project management and leadership experience
- APICS CPIM and/or CSCP Certification
- Collaborative and interpersonal skills including teaching, coaching, and leading cross-functional teams through projects
- Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility is preferred.
