Requirements
- Able to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
- Effectively communicate (verbally / written) with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills / interested in identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions
- General understanding of key concepts like receiving / shipping, inventory management, customer service, and process improvement
Responsibilities
- Learn and assist with receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, and other warehousing activities.
- Collect, analyze, and establish reports on operations performance data to identify areas of improvement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within operations. Assisting with various projects, developing new processes or improving existing ones.
- Learn about stale orders, inventory planning, tracking, cycle counts, and unit adjustments.
- Work with various departments, such as Customer Service, the Operational Excellence, Finance, and Transportation, to identify improvement opportunities
- Gain practical experience in operations management, develop analytical skills, and learn industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry level project management experience
- Part-time or volunteer roles with similar responsibilities
- Familiarity with relevant systems (WMS, TMS, RFID) or data analysis tools
