Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business related field (preferred) or 10 years of relevant supply chain & logistics experience in lieu of degree
- Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Group leader / supervisory / project lead experience
- Understanding of supply chain management and modern inventory and logistics management principles
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and diplomacy to exchange information, handle sensitive issues, and translate, simplify, and clarify information for employees
- High level of analytical capabilities and method creating competence
- Ability to motivate employees and increase employee morale
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Microsoft Navision
- Proficiency in SAP Paragon
Responsibilities
- Manages job functions in the areas of material planning & procurement, production planning, and inventory control at the AMS Reman Center
- Responsible for APL staff; primarily supervises the work of intermediate to senior level professional individual contributors
- Decision maker for daily activities that are guided by policy, procedures, and business plans with oversight from manager
- Demonstrates understanding and application of procedures and concepts related to job field as well as basic knowledge of other related work areas
- Coordinates the resources of team and sets daily priorities to meet operational objectives
- Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures
- Analyzes and develops established departmental processes
- Establishes departmental metrics and monitors achievements to goals
- Defines measurements to monitor inventory to standard metrics, including turns, target inventory and excess/obsolete disposition practices
- Establishes high level of interaction with Canton PDC to ensure successful supply chain flow
- Develops practices to improve the cooperation with PDC network
- Supports the implementation of the RPPL Materials tasks/objectives during the launch of the new products
- Responsible for implementing and sustaining center wide team initiatives
- Responsible for personnel evaluations, employee development, and improvement plans
- Responsible for staffing decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience and familiarity with manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience building and/or utilizing PowerBI dashboards for data analytics
