Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and corporate finance.
- Experience in corporate development, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to drive financial performance and shareholder value.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial and accounting aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Formalize key components of the planning and reporting processes.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support our growth objectives.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
- Prepare the company for SOC-2 compliance and audited books.
- Explore moving finance systems to a more robust structure e.g. Netsuite.
- Lead corporate development initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Build a financial organization and FP&A team that can support the growth strategy.
- Identify strategic opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Negotiate and structure deals to maximize value for the company.
- Manage investor relations activities, including communicating with shareholders and potential investors.
- Prepare and present financial information to investors and analysts.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company’s financial health.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Develop and mentor finance professionals to support the company’s growth.
- Leverage the existing strengths in order to elevate the function, making them more strategic and aligned with business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree in finance, CPA certification or equivalent, and/or professional investment experience.
- Experience in Adtech is a plus.
